Belmont Shore, one of the premier women's rugby teams in Southern California, finished the short spring season undefeated, going 4-0 in friendlies against Division 2 teams. Practices are over and will resume on May 18 for summer 7s. See Sevens for more information. Practices for the competitive fall season begin in August.

The Belmont Shore Women’s Rugby Club is located in Long Beach, California. The club's rich history includes two national championships. In 2009, the team made it back to Nationals for the first time in nine years. The team, nicknamed the Landsharks, is proud to be celebrating its 36th anniversary this year. It is never too late to join the Belmont family. We are always looking for new or experienced players and community members interested in supporting women’s rugby.
